David Cape
PRESIDENT
David Cape became president of Groupe Marcelle in 2003. He began his professional career as president of Princeton Transportation Consulting Group, developing software systems for large U.S. motor carriers. In April 1994, David returned to Montreal to work with his father Michael Cape and take on the position of executive vice president at Groupe Marcelle. Today, David serves as the chair of the Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs (CIJA). David holds Bachelor of Science in Engineering Management Systems from Princeton University.

Johanne Raymond
VICE PRESIDENT, HUMAN RESOURCES
Johanne joined Groupe Marcelle in 2019 as Vice President, Human Resources. In this role, she is responsible for the development of the HR strategic plan and the development of HR best practices at Groupe Marcelle. Previously, she worked in the financial sector at CIBC and TD Bank, and the manufacturing sector at Pratt & Whitney Canada. She also holds a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Relations and a Bachelor of Laws from Université de Montréal.

Julie Sanchez
VICE PRESIDENT, MARKETING
Julie has most than 20 years of experience as a marketing professional with extensive experience in a variety of industries with companies including Shan Swimwear, L’Oréal, Molson Coors Canada and Merck Canada. She has most recently worked at Yellow Pages Canada as a Marketing Vice-President where she demonstrated her digital transformation skills, her team leadership, her capacity on supporting profitable revenue growth and improving performance through focus and compelling marketing strategies.

Annie Larivière
VICE PRESIDENT, FINANCE
As the vice president of finance for Groupe Marcelle, Annie leads the company finance teams. She has worked for the company for 17 years, starting as a controller. Prior to joining the company, Annie spent 6 years working as a financial analyst at Essilor and 3 years at PwC accounting firm. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Professional Accounting from HEC Montréal.

Luc Simard
VICE PRESIDENT, OPERATIONS
Luc has been with Groupe Marcelle for 18 years. As vice president of operations, he leads all supply chain activities. Prior to this role, he spent 11 years at Procter & Gamble contributing to production, logistics and sales operations functions. Luc brings to Groupe Marcelle more than 20 years of experience in supply chain management. He holds a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering from Université Laval.

Christine Barvinek
VICE PRESIDENT, SALES
As the Vice President, Sales of Groupe Marcelle, Christine leads the company’s sales teams since 1999. Prior to joining the company, Christine lead Business Development at Regent Cosmetics ( Annabelle & Caroline Cosmetics brands ). Regent was acquired by Groupe Marcelle in 1999. Her previous 8 years with Katz Group Canada Ltd in Category Management, Procurement and Store Operations helped to complete her scope in the CPG Industry. Christine bring 30 years of managing experience to Groupe Marcelle.

Simon Roy
VICE PRESIDENT, PROJECTS AND SYSTEMS
Simon joined Groupe Marcelle in 2019 as Vice President, Projects and Systems. He is responsible for IT, business intelligence and initiatives to improve the efficiency of the company. Previously, he worked in the financial sector, at Desjardins and National Bank, as well as in governance and strategy at Bombardier. He also holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from École Polytechnique de Montréal and a master's degree in business management from HEC Montréal.
